Anthony's New Moves

It's been awhile since I've posted videos of Anthony dancing, so here are our latest and greatest! He has such an incredible love of music...I can't wait to discover what the Lord plans to do with and through this gift.

Of course, dancing with Daddy is always a winner at our house. They love coming up with new moves together.

For the past few months, Anthony has really gotten into Elmo. (Now he calls him "Elmo"...it used to be "Elwe"!!!) Anyway, just recently when the credits started rolling, Anthony scrambled off the couch and started moving to the beat. But then I realized it wasn't just the beat he was moving to...Each character in the credit roll was doing different dance moves. And there was Anthony--imitating each character's moves!!! So, I've been trying to capture this on video! It's so hilarious to watch! He really does such a good job! Enjoy!!!

Lucas' First Smiles!

Here are some of the many faces of Lucas. Of course, they are so much cuter in person, but you'll get the idea! He started smiling when he was four weeks old, and he hasn't stopped since!!! We call him smiley and our happy baby because he loves to just look at you and smile. Maybe it runs in the family because Anthony is a great smiler too.

"O-O-O-O-P"

Over the past month or so, Anthony has started to sing along with us to certain songs. One of these songs is the ABCs. He received the LeapFrog magnetic fridge letters from his Meme and Papa for Christmas, and it has been so much fun for him to practice his letters. He now recognizes every single one! We aren't really sure why, but he loves running around the island in our kitchen as he sings the alphabet song. We were cracking up one day when we realized he was singing "o-o-o-o-p" for the "l-m-n-o-p" part. I know this part of the song is tricky for alot of kids, but it's so funny listening to them figure it all out! We've been trying to catch it on video so we could share it with everyone...enjoy!

Aunt Michelle and Uncle Josh Visit

My little sis Michelle and her husband Josh came to visit us around Valentine's weekend. We had so much fun hanging out with them, and we even got a date night out of the deal! ;) I'm still getting used to them being married! (They've been married for about 7 months, but Josh has been a part of our family for a really long time!) They even got to experience our HUGE Texas snow!!! Thanks, guys, for making the trip to see us! It means so much!

Uncle Josh helping Anthony with his mitten...I think it fell off every 5 minutes while they were out there!

All bundled up
We borrowed a snowsuit a few months ago from our friends the Kims...I guess it's more of a bunting suit (not waterproof, but really warm). I laughed at Kristin when she suggested we take it home "just in case". Well, sure enough, "just in case" happened in the form of several feet of snow! Imagine that!

How do you resist a face like that???

Daddy comes out to join the fun!

Well, Mr. Snowman wasn't perfect, but at least they can say they built one!

Here's a little clip of Anthony waking up the morning of the big snow. It wasn't the best reaction in the world (we thought it would be better), but he's still pretty cute nonetheless!
