Lucas' First Haircut

Just look at this rag-a-muffin little boy--He is looooooooong overdue for a haircut! He's had these scraggly long hairs (just a few) ever since he was born that (as some of you sentimentalists out there would understand), I had a difficult time bringing myself to cut. Well, that worked out fine for me until his hair started laying flat--then these scraggly long pieces were down in his eyes! Not cool. So, Mario and I did a little trim.

BEFORE

"Please don't take my picture anymore, Mama, PLEASE!"
(so dramatic!)

AFTER
Yay! He can see again!
(We obviously didn't trim alot, but just enough to get by!)
So handsome!!!

Big Bro, Little Bro

It only took 42 shots to get these pics!!! ;)

Happy Fall, Y'all!

Oh, to be a kid again!!!

sending our love to you!!!

Lucas' 10 Month Pics

Where, oh, where has my little baby gone??? Wow! What a big boy he is now!!! These pics were from mid-November. Note the hair lying down flat.

sweet happy boy (most of the time)

laughing at big brother
(Anthony gets him to laugh the best!)

and what he'd rather be doing...climbing!!!

little stinker!

Lucas has had a more difficult time these past few weeks, not the least of which I'm sure is related to his top two front teeth coming in at the same time!!! He is also trying very hard to keep up with big brother--He knows what he wants to do, but many times he cannot quite make his little body do it. He is quite proficient at climbing, so we've found out this month! He has climbed onto his feet on Anthony's "cry chair", he can climb onto Anthony's toddler bed, and I did find him on the second to the top rung on the ladder of our playset outside one day!!! He still loves laughing, wrestling, and eating!!! He can out-eat Anthony lately!!!! One thing's for sure--there is never a dull moment around our house these days!!!

You Know You're a Mommy of a Toddler When...

...the gum in your purse looks like this!!!
(Haha! Yes, Anthony got into it and opened all but two pieces! He didn't try to eat any--I don't think he even knows what gum is. He just thought it would be fun to open them all!)
I love it!!!

All Things Halloween (lots of pics)

We had so much fun around Halloween this year! Get ready for picture overload! My mom, sister Mandy, and nephew James were able to come down for the weekend. We squeezed in Fall Festival, a trip to Canton (no pics of that--we were too busy keeping up with the babies!), pumpkin carving, lots of playing, and of course, trick-or-treating! Whew! Anthony, Lucas, and James all dressed up as construction workers this year! They were adorable! People kept asking the boys, "Are you 'Bob the Builder'?" We finally we all just nodded and said "yep!" We all had a blast!
