I just can't believe how much he has changed in such a few short weeks!!! Lucas is such a sweet baby, and it's so fun to see his little personality start to emerge! He is very laid back and calm, an excellent eater and sleeper, and generally very easy. He's already sleeping 9-10 hours every night, and still naps four times a day!!! The only time we ever hear him cry is when he is hungry--he becomes very demanding with an almost angry sounding cry...but as soon as he begins to nurse, all is right with the world again! So, in essence, we really only have to hear him cry as long as it takes us to get him from his crib to his Mommy! He'll do a little wimpery cry when he's sleepy. We've moved Lucas into his big crib in Anthony's room, and he's loving it. He loves watching big brother Anthony run around, and Anthony likes to entertain Lucas and make him smile. Anthony is always asking to "hold that" referring to Lucas!!! Lucas loves his pacifier and has made no attempts to suck his thumb. He has found his hands over the last six weeks and always either has his hands or his paci in his mouth. He loves batting at the mirror, fish, and ball on his playmat. He is very active. He always rolls over when I place him on his tummy, and I've never seen any baby before who bounces himself in his bouncy seat! (I'll post a separate video of that later!!!) His hair still stands straight up. He loves attention and will just coo and gurgle and "talk" when anyone plays with him. I think he likes the "flying like an airplane" game the best! He also loves being kissed and tickled. He still loves being swaddled at night, though he always manages to wriggle his arms out. He really enjoys his quiet time with Daddy in the mornings.
So, that's our sweet boy in a nutshell right now. I'm savoring every minute of it!!! He's still considered a "newborn", right!?!
