We had a wonderful time visiting our family in Memphis over Easter. Here are a couple of shots before we left for church Sunday morning...

Spring Blooms at the Arboretum
We visited the Dallas Arboretum with some friends a couple of weeks ago and spent the whole day there. It's a huge area (60+acres) of botanical gardens and fountains. This was Anthony's second trip here--we also went during the fall. But this time he was old enough to enjoy it a little more. During the "Spring Blooms" they have thousands of tulips planted--it is sooo beautiful! We just couldn't get over the vibrant colors! The above picture is the very first one I took that day...I guess I could've just stopped there because it ended up being the best one! Haha!
Our friend Evan showing Anthony the flowers
Anthony stood up to reach for a flower! I tried to catch it on camera, but he was already on his way back down!!!

Anthony was all over the place! I had a hard time getting him to sit still for pictures, so I resorted to singing our "clap your hands" song. He turned right toward me, smiled, and clapped his hands. Too bad I didn't capture very many flowers!
Here's Anthony digging in the dirt around the tulips. I'm glad that during this stage in life, fun comes cheap!!! And, yes, I had to do some digging of my own when we got home to get all the dirt out from his diaper!!!

Dance Party
Some of Anthony's moves captured on camera...
Sorry you have to suffer through hearing me sing that "Hot and Cold" song through both videos!!! It was so funny...the first time that Anthony ever danced, the American Idol contestants were singing that song on the show--that's what Anthony started dancing to! Too cute! So, I guess it kinda stuck, and now we sing that song whenever we want to see his little jig. Enjoy!!!
My UPS Man
Anthony received this precious outfit from some friends of the Mammina family (Ed and Debbie Adams)--as one of my shower gifts. (I believe Ed works for UPS). Well the weather was nice, so we decided to do a photo shoot in the backyard to see if we could capture any good photos to send to them. I think some of them turned out pretty cute...Ma, could you pass these along to the Adams'? Enjoy!!!
My "Ride"
Bear Bear
Anthony loves his Bear Bear. Bear Bear was a gift to Mommy from Grama before Anthony was even born. He wrestles with it, hugs it, rolls off it, and cuddles it. It's like his little (big) friend. Every time after I change his diaper, Anthony loves to be plopped down on Bear Bear. And whenever we go hang out in his room, he always crawls over to Bear Bear to give him a couple of good whacks! Here are some pictures for you to enjoy. (He "found" a pacifier somewhere in his room before I took these pics...we don't use it in the daytime anymore and have started weaning him from it for naps as well.) I love the video at the bottom...it cracks me up every time. One day I discovered Anthony was "missing" and found him all by himself just hanging out with Bear Bear. I grabbed my camera to document it, but he saw me peeking around the corner! And, yes, that's my green calculator he's playing with too! I keep it in my diaper bag for when I make my CVS runs...Mommy is so cool!!!
In and Out
Anthony has really been into taking things "out" for awhile...emptying baskets and bags, pulling out magazines from their racks, throwing his toys out of his playpen, etc. So, I've been really excited lately that he has discovered how to put things back "in". A couple of days ago, he helped me fill an entire bag with diapers that I was picking up. Now, I need a good "clean-up" song to help reinforce the idea. I'm open to suggestions from the peanut gallery. ;)
Here are a couple of pics of Anthony playing with his Noah's Ark that MeMe got him for Christmas. He hasn't quite got the fine motor skills to put the animals back in the slot in the top of the ark, but he definitely loves pulling all of them out!!! Here he is peeking in to make sure he got them all!
