Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day!!! Anthony had a beautiful card and necklace waiting for me when I woke up (with Daddy's help, of course!). ;) After church, we had a quiet picnic in the park. It was so peaceful. Anthony played on our blanket...this is him wearing Daddy's sunglasses!!! :) After he fell asleep, Mario and I played catch. Later that night we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and a piece of cheesecake! We had to take the cheesecake to go because someone was getting fussy (and it wasn't Mario)!!! All in all, it was a fantastic Mother's Day...we had so much fun!

Our little guy

We just thought this was a cute picture of Anthony. This is the only toy he can hold!!! Look at those chubby cheeks...so kissable! He loves playing on his changing table...that's where he is here. We can't wait to see everyone soon!

Anthony's 2 month checkup

Anthony had his 2 month checkup at 10:00 this morning, and he did great!!! Here are his stats...He weighed 10#8oz (25th percentile), his length was 22 3/4 inches (50th percentile), and his head measured 37 cm (10th percentile). He's doing fantastic on both his size and development. He is functioning at a range of 3 months and 2 weeks to 4 months and one week. Dr. Goebel says he's a little advanced for his age! (But we're not bragging or anything) ;) He had two vaccinations in his thighs plus an oral vaccine. We decided to split things up so it wouldn't be so much all at once. I'll take him back next week to get the other three vaccines...there are so many at this age! He cried a little, but recovered very quickly, and by the time we got to the car he was smiling again! :) He's pretty tough! So, we're going to take it easy the rest of the day because those little legs are going to be pretty sore. Here's a picture of him sleeping last night with his bunny...
